Fortunately, someone else already has.

OTTO Brisbane has come home from the 2026 Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards with not one, but two rather lovely reasons to pop the cork.

OTTO Brisbane was named Best Wine List QLD, while our Group Wine Director, Amanda Yallop, was inducted into the Awards Hall of Fame – only the third individual in the Awards’ 33-year history to receive the honour (and the first woman!).

When you’re holding our wine list, you’re now holding the very best one in Queensland. No big deal.

It’s a celebration of the things we love to drink: Italian favourites, Australian gems, bottles from further afield and a few things you may not have tried before. So whether you know exactly what you’re after or are simply looking for something good, there’s plenty to choose from.

Amanda Yallop – Hall of Fame

And then there’s Amanda.

Len Evans Tutorial Scholar. Maison Krug Ambassade. Judge at countless local and global wine competitions. Devoted PJ Harvey fan. And now, a member of the Australian Wine Hall of Fame.

So if you’ve ever had a particularly good glass of wine at OTTO, there’s a decent chance Amanda had something to do with it. We couldn’t be happier to raise one to her.

Naturally, we’ll be letting her choose what we pour to celebrate.
